“Twenty years ago, I lived in a tiny studio apartment in the Pike Place Market,” she said. “I loved it—but in many ways it felt pretty exotic. Living in the Market meant that I could walk everywhere—to work, a gallery opening, shopping or to a great restaurant. City living meant having everything you needed at your fingertips. And it still does.”

Born in San Francisco, Moira grew up in Northern California’s Portola Valley and Seattle. She is a strong supporter of Seattle’s community service organizations, including The Bailey Boushay House and the Broadmoor/Washington Park Guild of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
